Giclee (zee-CLAY), is an individually produced, high-resolution, high-fidelity, high-tech reproduction done on a special large format printer using fade free pigment inks that last over 75 years. Because high quality is required, most museums today display canvas giclee's when the originals are not available.

The total size is an impressively large 20 x 24 inches with the image size 18 x 18 inches on the finest grade artist canvas available.This auction is for the canvas only... There is a white border around the image so it can either be board/dry mounted or stretched with standard OR gallery canvas bars.

There is also an acrylic texture ( by hand!) added on the artwork - the result is unsurpassed colour fastness and bright, vivid images that look as good as the original, and stay that way.. this also protects your artwork from dust and grime that seems to gravitate to a canvas!!! My canvases are NOT mass produced inferior copies from China, they are made start to finish here in Lancashire.
