Description

Recorded with a 15-piece group (which includes two keyboards, cello, and two drummers) has among its stars vibraphonist Orphy Robinson, cellist Ernst Reijseger, trombonist Gary Valente, trumpeter Claude Deppa, and the leader's tenor. This album while not being too radical is full of colorful music written by Andy Sheppard. It was considered a fine effort that shows that there is still life to be found in big band jazz.

An official re-issue of the original CD by Island Records, it's an exact copy of the music from the original recording in CDO format and uses the same graphic for the cover. See www.thedisckiosk.com/cdo.htm for more details.
