12&1/4" x 9&1/4" hardcover, 212 pages, richly illustrated with b&w photographs dating back to the 1930s through the early 1990s. Written and "Copyright" by Gwendolyn Nebelsick Mahler, printed by Walsworth Publishing Company of Marceline, Missouri. Endpapers decorated with various types of flight wing pins that attendants have worn throughout the years. On front endpaper is a inscription, on the title page are 9 different inscriptions-much like a signed yearbook, etc. Book is very exclusive because it's distribution was extremely limited. Although Walsworth Publishing is credited with printing this book, there is nothing that states "published by" anywhere. That may be the reason that presently there are 3 copies for sale on Amazon for right around $500 a piece, the cheapest one listed at $478 becaue it is an ex-library edition.
This book is in ex-clean, condition, front cover with 2 very light scratches, a few very tiny specs at top right corner, otherwise cover is like-new, the binding is perfect, endpapers with no splitting, pages are clean, free of rips or creases.
