A Fine and
interesting italian 4/4 violin, labelled
"Antoniazzi Romeo di Cremona fece in Cremona l'anno 1912"
The back is two piece maple with light flame.The wood to the ribs and scroll is of similar or the
same wood.The front is is two piece spruce of good quality with medium
grain. The "f" holes are neatly cut and the front and back are fully
purfled which is again neat. The warm golden yellow varnish is in very
good condition, completely original. The arching is medium high and
quite flowing. There are no cracks. The scroll is grafted. It has new boxwood fittings, plays really well, nicely balanced with
good carrying power.The length of back 358 mm. A really nice
