Beautiful and antique Modernist chandelier from the french Art deco period, made around 1930. The fixture of the chandelier is completely chrome-plated, above the center bowl is a huge glass disk, made of frosted glass, located. Underneath is a salmon glass shade, made of thick-walled glass and showing a lovely elaborated mermaid pattern. The mermaids are clear polished to achieve a better contrast to the frosted glass parts.
 
The chandelier gives off a warm and atmospheric light and looks really special in its fascinating appearance.
 
The chandelier is in excellent, used condition and shows only light signs of use like it is age-appropriated for such an antique object. The chromium-plate of the middle rod shows some scratches, but this is not visible if the chandelier is hanging. The glass elements are all free from any damage. The chandelier is new wired (European standard/ 220 V), but needs to get rewired to U.S. standard.
