If you are looking for a compact loft ladder that requires minimal vertical clearance and is suitable for a small ceiling opening (600 x 500mm) then the Alufix aluminium concertina loft ladder is the one to choose. The loft ladder sits on the existing trapdoor and is fastened directly onto the opening frame by a wooden plate that is supplied. The loft ladder has extra wide treads (340mm x 78mm) and has a spring controlled suspension system which keeps the ladder in position for safe and easy use.

The Alufix aluminium concertina ladder is supplied fully assembled for immediate use and is easily installed without the need for special tools. The loft ladder comes complete with trap door hinges, catch and pole hook and although the duty rating is 100kg it has been tested to 200kg giving it a unique durability.
