A lightbox is designed to illuminate a backlit graphic from behind. This is achieved by placing a light source behind or alongside a diffusion lens that sits directly behind the graphic which you want to illuminate.

AlienOcean Light Boxes are at the cutting edge of light box design but, at the same time, providing fantastic value for money.

AlienOcean LED Light Boxes provide a powerful and bright even spread of light for your graphic and use LED’s (Light Emitting Diodes) in their construction, replacing the outmoded fluorescent tube systems which lasted around two years and consumed significant amounts of power. In contrast AlienOcean Light Boxes are designed to provide around 7 – 8 years life whilst using, at the same time, the absolute minimum amount of energy.

The LED’s in the AlienOcean Light Boxes are electronic components which emit visible light when electricity is applied, much like a light bulb. However, there the similarity ends as their power consumption is a fraction of a normal light bulb and, in addition, their life span is not measured in hours but in years.

An acrylic sheet (or Plexiglass as it is sometimes known) is used in the AlienOcean Light Box sitting in front of the graphic. This not only protects your graphic as it is scratch and shatter resistant but provides an incredibly vibrant effect for the picture.

AlienOcean Light Boxes are "Snap-Frame" type which means that, attached to the aluminium frame, there are four aluminium sections which can be opened allowing the graphic to be placed behind the Plexiglass sheet and then snapped back into place. In addition to allowing your graphic or message to be frequently changed without the need to remove the unit from the wall these provide the appearance of a seamless and elegantly stunning looking satin finish aluminium frame for your advert or picture.

Returns can be made up to the 7th working day after you received the item.   The item MUST NOT have been assembled or used and MUST be returned in "As New" condition and in the original packaging.
