  • The external half of the Magnavore 55g aquarium algae magnet is made of 95mm x 51mm x 45mm welded ABS water resistant shell.
  • Twin rare earth magnets are epoxy embedded inside the shell.
  • Random Flocked Acrylic contact pad safely protects glass and acrylic. Wears thin over time and is replaced as needed. Included with every Tune-up kit and Acrylicare kit.

  • The internal half of the 55g algae magnet is made of 63mm x 95mm x 28mm watertight welded plastic casing and features two rare earth magnets.
  • The contact surface is a medical grade nylon with tremendous cleaning power on glass. It also acts as a holder for acrylicare pads.
  • The Magnavore 55g algae magnet is impervious to fresh and salt water and can be kept continually submerged within the aquarium.

  • A soft polyester acrylicare pad is included for acrylic aquariums to go over the base pad.
