I am selling this and a Sony TC377 (also on e-Bay) for a friend who is not on the internet. He has had  both machines from new but went over to CD a few years ago. Both machines have had little use since. They are both in excellent cosmetic condition and all functions work. The motors are a bit sluggish at times but this is usual from lack of regular use; however as I have owned both types of deck myself, there is nothing that a good service will not solve. These were with justification the two most popular domestic tape recorders of the 1970s. I prefer the 377!

AKAI 4000DS Mk.II - 4-track 2-speed stereo. c/w mains lead, manual and a couple of 7" tapes.

As these do need a service: Sold as Seen, UK only. Cheque/PO/Cash - NO PayPal regardless of  what e-Bay demands!  £15 carriage or collect.
