Airfix Collectors Guide on CD-ROM
For the Airfix enthusiast and collector - a comprehensive listing of every Airfix plastic kit released from 1949 to 1990.
Believed to be the most accurate and comprehensive guide to old Airfix kits available today. Enthusiasts will know that the current owners of the Airfix trademark (Hornby) have very little archive information from the early days of the Airfix company. What information is known now rests with the Airfix collecting community. This Collectors Guide represents the accumulation of much of that knowledge.
About the author (in all modesty) : well known in the Airfix and plastic model collecting community, and creator of the Airfix Collectors Club website www.airfix-collectors-club.com. A two page biography on the author was provided in Arthur Ward's recent publication "Classic Kits, Collecting the Greatest Model Kits in the World" Harper Collins, ISBN 0-00-717695. In addition, he has been asked several times to appear on various TV programmes, the most recent being the BBC Money Programme.
A must have addition for any Airfix enthusiast ! Details follow.......

Small print and technical stuff
The Microsoft Excel spreadsheets on this CD-ROM are in Excel 2000 format and have been tested on Windows 95, 98, ME and XP. They are optimised for 1280x1024 resolution. Lower resolutions may require additional scrolling. As is normal with anything concerning PCs, I cannot guarantee that the spreadsheets will work as designed on any individual machine. If the spreadsheet does not work I will refund payment. Volume 1 and Volume 2 have a slightly different layouts. Pictures are provided for the vast majority of the 800+ kits listed in the Guide, but not all. Pictures are generally provided only for kits up to the late 1970s - some pictures are provided for later kits, but these will be separate on the CD and not integrated within the spreadsheet Guide. Microsoft Works users will not have Excel, so the official Microsoft Excel Viewer program is included on each CD. The jewel case seen in picture may not always be supplied, but CD will always be protected and shipped securely. The author reserves the right to continually improve this CD (eg by adding more pictures), therefore no two CDs may be absolutely identical.
