Fantastic kit of the British Horsa Assault Glider which is  very well moulded and fits together without any troubles.

The Horsa was built by Airspeed and used by the British wherever and whenever they needed to drop Paras into the heat of the action. Whether over Normandy, Sicily, Arnhem or the Rhine, the Horsa was the use and discard engineless workhorse that took the Paras to their dangerous destinations.  Most notably it was Horsas that were used to drop the 6th Airborne Division literally onto Pegasus Bridge over the Orne Canal and Horsa Bridge over the River Orne on the early hours of D-Day, 6th June 1944.

The Mk I  was a production glider with the cable attachment at the upper point of the landing gear. The Mk II had a hinged nose to allow direct loading and unloading of equipment. The Horse had a capacity for 2 crew and 25 troops. In total, 3,799 Horsas were built.
