This is a stunning tribal Hanging that can transform a room.
It is made in strips of heavy cotton, woven on a hand-loom and stitched together.
The unique design is then drawn on and the cotton dyed to produce this  evocative creation that would look great on any wall or as a throw in your sitting room, hall or bedroom.

Unlike European Art, African Art has remained true to its traditions, so the designs you see today are similar to those of the past. Some of the most striking designs are those of human or animal figures that have greatly elongated or changed limbs and are quite surreal.

We order many West African items from our friends in the Artisan`s Village on the beautiful coast of Senegal, who skillfully make them and send them to us so that they may be offered to the world.

How to hang a Wall-Hanging:
1. The easiest way is to pin it to the wall.
 2. Double-sided adhesive velcro is readily available and another easy option - one adhesive side sticks to the hanging, the other to the wall and the velcro sides join together.
3. Attach a narrow strip of wood to the wall and hang it from there using velcro / pins.
