This is a green mudcloth with 3 stripes and black designs handmade in Mali, West Africa and measuring 228 x 150cm. Narrow woven cotton strips are stitched together, then the cloth is dyed and the designs are printed on.

This textile would make an imaginative and decorative throw, bedspread, wall hanging or curtain.
