'Blue Rose' - an original acrylic work, by established artist Noelle Stevenson. Size: 15" x 9". Framed with glass, with hooks and cord, ready to hang, with an off white mount and natural light coloured wood frame. This painting has been professionally mounted and framed, and signed by the artist. The beautiful blue rose is finely detailed, and is an original, one-off work, not a print or mass produced item. The artist does not make copies, cards or prints of her images. This painting is offered at a much reduced price, as part of an end of season sale at the artist's own gallery. It will be well packed to avoid damage, hence the fairly high postage. Further photographs will be sent on request. She works from her studio/gallery in SW Scotland, creating hand-painted original silk pictures, wall-hangings,and cards. She experiments with different techniques, media and subject matter in this ancient art form, to which she gives a modern interpretation. She is influenced by images from the the natural world,both real and imaginary,and the theme 'Natural Elements Translated Into Silk' runs through her work. She also paints in acrylic,watercolour and mixed media, in a number of different styles, but, as always,influenced by nature. |
