For sale is the Acorn User Cover CD No. 8 from 1999.

According to the inro on the CD "We have (possibly) the final snapshot of what was the Acorn FTP site, the boot structure which was to be on Pheobe (but which has been updated with a newer version of the Toolbox modules and also an installer), all the cover discs from May upto November and the software from the AU site (from November to Jan 2000), audio players, MP3 encoders, utilities and websites.

It goes without saying that this CD would not have been possible without the help of various people within the RISC OS community, in particular, those who have sent the websites, Pace for allowing us permission to use the Acorn FTP sites and !Boot structure, Argonet for the RISC OS4 happy version of !Fresco and all those who have contributed software to AU. David Jackson at Clares Micro Supplies comes in for a special mention as he helped in the development of the !boot installer when I failed to see why the program was dying so horribly at one stage."
