Brand new and unbuilt.

 

The 52-K Soviet 85mm Anti Aircraft Gun Model 1939 was used against medium and high altitude bombers during WWII. However, they were also utilised in an anti tank role in emergency situations being provided with armour piercing rounds to be used against tanks. 52-K guns were normally organised into heavy anti aircraft units of 16 guns. After WWII the 52-K was provided as an air defence weapon to virtually all of the Soviet Union's allies.

 

The 52-K's 85mm ammunition was the basis for the development of the Soviet D-5T gun that was subsequent fitted to the T-34 to upgrade them from T-34/76 to T-34/85 and also required a remodelled 3 man turret. 

Whether for wargaming or just building for display this brand new kit is a classic. Not to be missed.
