This is an AVO Allwave Oscillator (Signal Generator) made by Automatic Coil Winder & Electrical Equipment Co. Ltd., Winder House, London S.W.1 probably in the 1940's. The frequency range is 95 Kc/s (kHz) to 80 Mc/s (80 MHz) in 6 bands.
Cosmetically it is in good condition for its age except for a dent in the case on one corner (I can send a photo of this if required). The leather carrying handle is in good condition. It is in good working order. I have never had the case open so I don't know the condition inside but I would be happy to take a look if required.
It is unlikely that it meets todays electrical safety standards so the winner of the auction must have it safety tested befor use.
I do not have any instructions or circuit diagrams but it is quite a simple device.
I am happy to answer any questions within my capability.
