       This Authentic Japanese Woodblock Print by Kawase Hasui is Entitled Beach at Omori and Dated 1930 in Japanese in the Left Hand Margin. It Shows the Signature Hasui with his Round Red Seal Reading Sui, Below the Signature in the Lower Right of the Scene. This Is One of Hasui's Most Appealing Beach at Night Scenes, Just Look at the Detail and Incredible Colour and Light.

       It is 39.5cm x 26.5cm (1ft 3.5 inches x 10.4 inches), Printed on Medium Weight Washi, Hand Made Japanese Paper, with Good Ink Bleed Through to the Reverse Side, and Displays the 7mm Round Black Watanabe Publishers Seal in the Bottom Left of the Scene and the Red Heisei Seal in Bottom of the Right Hand Margin as Proof of its Authenticity. This Remarkably Detailed and Subtly Coloured Woodblock was Originally Released in 1930 and this Example is a Later Edition, Hand Printed from the Original 1930 Woodblocks by the Famous Watanabe Company.

ABOUT THE ARTIST: KAWASE HASUI Lived from 1883 until 1957. He is Most Highly Regarded for the Exquisite Colour, Amazing Perspective and Inspiring Ambiance of his Wide Range of Landscape Woodblocks. During his Life he Created Over 600 Different Woodblock Scenes and he is Recognised as one of Most Prolific and Most Talented of Shin Hanga Artists from the Early 20^th Century. It is no wonder that a Year Prior to his Death he was Honoured with the Title of a Living National Treasure.
