|
|
You are viewing an attractive Neuropteris dussartii plant fossil in a nodule from the Upper Carboniferous (Duckmantian Stage), Lancs. It is a particularly nice specimen and measures 68mm x 48mm. The fern is from a closed open cast pit that is now being land filled. It is a very collectable fossil as it comes from hard rock not the flaky shale sometimes seen in plant preservation. There are more specimens on the reverse. Check out my other items! Be sure to add me to your favourites list! |
