You are viewing on a very well detailed Lepidostrobophyllum sp. plant in a nodule from the Lower Carboniferous, Duckmantian Stage, Lancashire. The specimen comes fully labelled and measures approx 46mm x 28mm. It is a very collectable fossil as it is from hard rock not the flaky shale sometimes seen in plant preservation. Please see the photo for the condition of the specimen although it does not do it complete justice.
