You are looking an attractive Grammoceras sp. ammonite from the Upper Liassic, Striatulum Shales (180 million years old), Whitby, N. Yorks. The specimen measure 50mm on a matrix of 70mm x 46mm x 40mm. Please see the photograph for the condition of the specimen although it does not do it complete justice.
