Fabulous working piece that you will enjoy adding to your collection! Fresh to us from an estate dispersal and ready for your collection...or even use! Original twisted cloth covered wiring appears to be in place, however we do note fray and it should be re-wired for safety. Cord and plug are very old as you can see. Bakelite plug is in fine working condition but missing it's interior paper cover. Fan runs nicely if you give it a bit of assistance to start up...years of storage dust and dander have it a little sticky...although working, truly needs a thorough cleaning and more than likely a bit of lubrication and TLC. Selling in as found condition...personal size fan with an art deco flair...green color...original label still remains on this Fitzgerald Manufacturing Company product, from Torrington, Conn. U.S.A. The label additional states that it has an 8" Oscillator - Induction, 60 cycles AC only, 105-110 Volts, .38 Amp. Stands in at about 12" tall with a 9" cage. Marked additionally on the front of the fan cage, Star Rite, Fitzgerald Mfg. Co., Torrington, Conn. U.S.A. Ask questions if you have them...will be carefully packed and shipped promptly upon confirmation of your payment.

Insurance is recommended, and not included in the shipping calculator quote. Please do not anticipate that we will "make good" any item damaged by the USPS or UPS systems due to mishandling. If you do obtain insurance, and have a claim, we will provide you with the proper paperwork, but you must proceed from your end with the claim. You may be asked to provide the original box and contents to the USPS or UPS prior to their processing the claim. Failure to do so will nullify their requirement to reimburse you for your loss.

Additional Packaging Requests: We have received a few requests to "double box" our items. While we take great care to pack our items normally, we do not generally double box. To do so adds to the weight and expense for shipping. Please be aware that if you make this request, you must do so prior to paying as your invoice must be adjusted to accommodate the additional shipping weight. Do not wait until paying to include a "note" with your payment, as we may then be unable to comply with your request.

Please note: We care about your item! We pack carefully, as if it will be our own, taking great care. For this, we incur substantial packing costs associated with proper delivery to you.
