ASTROPHYTUM ONZUKA 15 SEEDLINGS 6.5cm pot of seedlings

On offer here is a 6.5cm pot of seedlings of Astrophytum onzuka forms. These plants are still very small, the largest measuring no more than 9mm across, but there are approximately 15 plants in the pot, offering the opportunity to grow them on and select the very best for your collection. 

• The plants are growing in a 6.5cm pot and have been raised from seed. There are approx. 15 plants in the pot.
• The plants illustrated are the plants that are offered for sale.
• These species are suited to being grown in a greenhouse.
• The plants will be supplied ex pot, ready for potting into a free-draining compost. See below for potting and cultural recommendations.

• Postage & packaging costs for UK delivery of this plant are £2.10; for additional plants I charge just 50p postage per plant. All UK orders are sent by Royal Mail First Class post, for which I obtain Proof of Posting.
• Postage & packaging costs for other European countries is £5.70; for additional plants I charge just 50p postage per plant. European orders are sent by Royal Mail Priority Recorded Post, which requires a signature of receipt upon delivery.
• I recommend PayPal for payment as it is fast, easy and secure, but will also accept payment by cheque and postal order (please remember that cheques take around 5 days to clear). All orders will be despatched within 7 days of payment clearance. Orders are accepted only from buyers in the UK and Europe.  I cannot accept orders from other countries, including Canada and USA, because of international plant health regulations and CITES restrictions.

Upon receipt the plant should be unwrapped as soon as possible. I recommend a peat-based compost or a mix of peat and loam-based potting compost, with the addition of 25 to 30 percent sharp grit, Perlite or Seramis to aid drainage. After potting the plant it should be placed in a bright, sunny position. Do not water for one week after potting, and thereafter the plant should be watered regularly throughout the growing season (March to October). The best advise is to water the plant thoroughly on each occasion, but allow it to dry out more or less completely before watering again.  During the winter resting period the compost should remain dry and the plant should be protected from frost.
