ASPREY VESTA CASE GO TO BED LEATHER SILVER 1895

This is for a beautiful Victorian sterling silver vesta case and go to bed by Asprey with an armorial crest on the lid. I do not know the crest on the lid, it shows a Unicorn and a crown, but i would imagine this belonged to somebody very important. The vesta is finished in green leather with a silver lid, inside it has its original strike plate that lifts up to store the matches unerneath. It carries a full set of English sterling silver hallmarks dating it to London 1895 along with the makers mark C.A & G.A for Charles and George Asprey. It is in excellent condition with no damage to it anywhere, there are no rips, tears, splits or repairs in the leather and no dings or dents in the silver. It is all perfectly intact and it displays beautifully. It measures 59mm x 30mm and stands 61mm tall.
