THIS IS A EXCELLENT QUALITY ANTIQUE ARTS & CRAFTS STEIN AND/OR MUG.  MARKED ON BOTTOM J & C  STANDS FOR : (JAEGER AND CO OF GERMANY) .WITH FLOWERS IN BETWEEN THE INITIALS.  THIS DEPICTS A MONK DRINKING A BOTTLE OF WINE AND HOLDING A BASKET FULL OF GRAPES.  BRIGHT WHITE PORCELAIN ON THE INSIDE OF MUG.

THERE IS SOME WEAR TO THE PAINT, OR IT IS SUPPOSE TO LOOK LIKE THIS.  NO CHIPS CRACKS OR REPAIRS.  VERY NICE MUG MEASURES 5 1/2" TALL AND 3" ACROSS THE RIM.
