No. 2 HAWKETTE

DOES IT WORK? As we are not in any way knowledgible about cameras so I'm afraid we don't know if this can be made to work.  Known 'damage' - the main lens on the front is missing and only one clip to close it entirely shut is present; the other is missing.

THE POSITIVES. Everything else seems 'right'; the shutters open and close when the shutter button is pressed and when you press the red button and the lever with red on it, it folds correctly.

You can open/close the back of the camera easily & there is an empty, metal spool inside. 

The bakelite is in great condition with no chips & highly decorative.

The concertina 'bellows' are in tip top condition; no holes - dusty.

Impressed around the main lens = No. 2 Hawkette and on the back,

Manufactured in Great Britain by Kodak. 

It comes with its original camera case which is a sort of

leather-look canvas with a leather strap!

THE BAKELITE SURROUND HAS LOVELY ART DECO DECORATION!

DATING FROM THE 1930-1940s

When closed, the bakelite casing is 7 left to right, 3.5 inches fron to back & is 1.5 inches deep. When the camera is open, it has an extended depth and measures 4.5 inches.
