This is for a fabulous original art deco plique-a-jour pendant. The chain holds a large silver bird with its wings outstretched clutching a diamond in its feet. The wings and fan tail are made in pierced silver with emerald green plique-a-jour enamel panels. The bird has been nicely hand engraved on both sides to show the feather detail and the inside of the wings have a row of marcasites along the top. It has the original red inset eyes and a beautiful pearl hanging at the base. It is in absolute excellent condition with no damage to it anywhere......there is no damage to the enamel....no dents to the silver and it really does display beautifully. The bird measures 35mm (1.3") tall including the pearl by 50mm (2") across and the chain is 400mm (16") long in total. Please check out all the other art deco and art nouveau items, vintage jewellery, antique smoking and writing implements and all the other vintage ladies and gentlemans accessories I am selling on ebay this week. I will always combine shipping to make it cheap to buy a lot.
