The body of the clock is made of oak I think as it has a stain polished finish a fine good quality clock. This wonderful shaped clock would grace and room in your house ideal present and a good investment. The domed top with a  carved applied decoration supporting pillars flanking the face. This German clock made by a good German maker HAC - HAMBURG AMERICAN CLOCK COMPANY clock is a rare example.  This really is a fine example  - the face is a little oxidised still looks fine with gold arabic numerals and black metal hands. Movement: The movement is accessed at the rear of the clock, the movement is a large square brass movement stamped HAC.
