APRILIA SXV 550

Up for sale is my 07 model and reg sxv 550. I wont bang on about what this does etc etc as im sure your aware of these type of bikes and what they were built for. This bike has just been fitted with a brand new rebuilt engine as the last one went pop. Yes if these bikes are not looked after they will break. Due to a blocked oil pump the original engine was starved of oil and you know the rest. The good news is that as the gear box is a seperate unit that part (including suter slipper clutch) are all ok. The remains of the original engine are pictured in the boxes. Most of it is junk but the gearbox/slipper clutch is all good.

I managed to track down a replacement engine off a forum i use (with receipt) which had just had a full rebuild from Corsa Italiana costing £1144 which i have receipts for aswell. The rebuild was done in July this year and only been used twice in the previous bike on a track day. The new engine was then bought by me where it spent the last few weeks at Tri County Aprilia dealer waiting to be fitted (again i have receipt). So its a brand new fresh engine ready to go with every done that should be done that i picked up this morn. One point to mention is that as the new engine was a race engine i believe that the flywheel has been removed so does not charge the batt when running, if your planning to use this bike on the road i would look for a second hand one (again i can put you in touch with Corse who have some second hand i nstock i believe). I will keep bike on charge anyhow in case i fancy a spin!

The bike also has a full ackrapovic system on it, aswell as a few other little extras, tailtidy, hand guards, crash bungs etc. The bike is not new as has been used as intended, trying to describe the bike as honestly as i can but your best coming to view as i dont to to paint a false picture (weather it be good or bad!). It is also taxed till July 2010 and needs no mot till then to.

All original bits are included, along with V5, both keys, manual etc. Im a honest ebayer, please check my feed back and expect the same please. Looking for straight sale really but maybe interested in a you buy mine i buy yours type of deal if it makes things easier (wink).

Sure ive missed out loads but ill add that in later. Sorry for the essay (and bad english but wrote this in a hurry) but want people to know what they are looking at. You are bidding to buy not to haggle over final price if your not happy with something, sorry to those genuine ebayers but a £150 deposit will also be required by winning bidder before details of where the bike is will be released. Rest cash on collection please. Have had to many time wasters in the past, as mentioned please come view the bike before so every one is happy.

Also forgot to say that ill throw in a few tyres that ive got lying in the garage. Think i have a couple of fronts and rears. Not 100% sure on sizes though as they are off my old moto, also have a few spare filters for the new owner. :)
