Please be aware that Apple have a slight technical issue over what is 3rd Gen 8gb Ipod touches.

You can contact Apple directly to confirm this.  At the moment, only 32GB and 64GB are being marketed as 3rd Gen and Apple have recently changed 8gb and 16GB to 2nd Gen ipods with 3rd Gen software.  Confirm this with Apple for independent information if you wish.  It does not matter if you buy from Apple, any other ebay shop, or high street retailer.  Technically there is no 8gb 3rd gen ipod.  This is a 2nd gen ipod with 3rd gen software.  Themain difference really is the size of the hard drive and that this one does not have a mic, but the rest is the same. Some apps are also not available on the 8gb version - Contact Apple for more information

GRADE NOTE (B-):  Please note that this is a graded product from a major high street retailer.  This means that the item is a working customer return. These particular units are genuine working customer returns.  They are not refurbished or repaired units.  They work just as good as brand new products but could, in some cases have cosmetic blemishes - Why pay more! 

This particular unit has got many scratches on the rear of the unit

The screen also has some scratches but screen still clearly visible and fully functional
