SUPERB ANTIQUE / VINTAGE WOOD / WOODEN PRINTERS TRAY / DRAWER ~ PRIMITIVE DECOR ~ PRINT TYPE KEEPER ~ USE For MINIATURE SHELF Or CONVERT To SHADOW BOX ~ RUSTIC BEAUTY ~ NR!  This lovely older tray came from a local estate where we acquired several printer drawers / trays....a variety too! This is the third one we are listing and it is quite nice. As you can see it was painted a very dark green on the front at one time. There is no marking on the metal handle but there are white numbers of, 67 & 24.   Handle is a dark metal with a nice aged patina...not sure of maker. Measures approx. 32¼ inches long, 16½ inches wide and approx. 1½ inches deep.   There are 89 boxes with brass corner protectors in place. No boxes appear to be broken. Nice aged patina also in the wood and brass corner connectors.    Backside is in good shape for age too. No serious damages such as splits, gouges or deep scratches. Condition is quite good for age and this will make a lovely primitive decor piece. Natural wear is commensurate with age & having been previously enjoyed.   These are often made into shelving units or shadow boxes for miniatures. Due to size there will most likely be a surcharge applied by the USPS depending on the zone you reside in. Will be boxed with approx. dimensions of 34x18x2½ as we will construct a box especially for this. Weighs about 8½ pounds. Please email any questions through eBay and thanks for looking!

INCREASED RATES FROM THE UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVICE......AGAIN! In lieu of climbing fuel costs and more rate changes with the United States Postal Service ( they still have the lowest rates though ) we are NOT raising our handling fees.... in fact, we are LOWERING them! Handling fee per auction will be $1.75....maybe less when items are not breakable. With gas costs we must continue to ship on Wednesdays only. The USPS bases shipping cost on not just weight, but package dimensions and zones for to & from. When packages exceed the size of one cubic foot for certain mailing zones, surcharges are applied by the USPS, not us! We provide package dimensions in the shipping calculator, as well as approx. weight, so that you are getting the most accurate quote possible. We will ship your item / items through USPS ( United States Postal Service ). We had been using UPS but due to countless problems with that courier we DO NOT use them.
Insurance is optional for any package shipped USPS. We are not responsible for items once we hand them over to the USPS. With fragile items we STRONGLY suggest you get insurance. Again, we are not responsible for breakage. Should you have an item arrive broken & you have paid for insurance, please email us immediately so that we can begin the claim process. Keep all original packaging and box. You will have to wait for any monetary compensation until the USPS processes the claim. (IF INSURANCE OPTION DOES NOT SHOW UP OR DISPLAYS AS “NOT OFFERED” WHEN USING CHECK-OUT AT AUCTION END, EMAIL US RIGHT AWAY SO THAT WE CAN ENSURE YOU ARE INVOICED WITH OPTIONAL INSURANCE)
PayPal, a money order, or cashiers check gets your item shipped out the Wednesday after payment is received and a personal check will be held for 10 business days for clearance & shipped on the closest Wednesday thereafter ( No Exceptions ). We ship every Wednesday.
Payment is expected within 5 days of auction close unless prior arrangements are made. With BUY-IT-NOW transactions payment is expected within 3 days.
We reserve the right to reject any bid based on negative feedback ratings.
A general $1.75 handling fee will be applied to most transactions unless stated otherwise in auction description....it can be as little as $1.00 in some cases and will be mentioned in auction description. This nominal fee barely covers cost of shipping supplies. If you use the shipping calculator this fee is already included. If you win multiple auctions wait for an invoice as we only apply that handling fee once, not for each auction you win. We will only combine multiple wins when we can so do safely, sometimes there are items which must be shipped by themselves to keep them safe and secure in transit.
ALL SALES ARE FINAL...unless we have grossly misrepresented an item. We describe things to the best of our ability and take many pictures to represent wares appropriately. We pride ourselves on our level of honesty and integrity. Refunds will never be granted due to buyer remorse and will exclude shipping and handling fees.
We are always willing to arrange LOCAL PICK-UP for buyers in our area. Just ask! Items must be paid for and picked up within seven days of auction close unless prior arrangements are made.
We are not responsible for transit times! Priority mail usually takes 2-3 days to arrive but is not guaranteed by the United States Postal Service. Please remember that when you select Parcel Post, Media Mail, etc., that these services can take up to 10 business days and sometimes longer. They are less costly because they are not as timely. We PREFER that winning bidders wait to pay after being invoiced directly from us. We seem to have some small issues with the automatic check-out service....many times it leaves off optional insurance and things of that nature....if you use auto-check out, want insurance and it does not show up as an option, please email us through eBay so we can send you a corrected invoice.
Please remember that when purchasing vintage or antique goods that these items are used and/or previously enjoyed. Do not expect them to come to you in “like new” condition unless that is stated in item description.
LIGHTING LAMPS and VINTAGE FIXTURES.....We must now post a policy regarding the sale of such items. When bidding on vintage lamps, fixtures, etc. look over the pictures carefully! What is pictured is what you will get. Often, especially older fixtures, DO NOT come with original hardware so unless it is pictured or specifically noted do not expect any. You can take your vintage items to any hardware or specialty lighting store...even access some on the net...to find hardware & such that will fit and blend nicely with the item. There is a great deal of vintage inspired items on the market. Sometimes we re-wire lamps and when we do it will state that in the description. We make no warranties of any kind regarding vintage electrical items whether it be lighting or something else. If a lamp works there will be a picture showing you it works. Sometimes we can test and show that a fixture will work but wiring etc. is up to you. If you have a question about any auction please ask before you bid. All sales are final on lamps, fixtures, shades, etc.
On the sale of any electrical or battery powered items there are no warranties implied or otherwise.
ATTENTION INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS....Although we are pleased to accept bids and trade worldwide please do not ask us to mark your purchases as gifts on US customs forms. WE WILL NOT DO THIS! All International purchases will be shipped through The US Postal Service only, no exceptions! When the auction ends we will package, weigh, and provide you with the most accurate shipping quote possible. Insurance is included with Priority Mail International shipping. Packages shipped Priority Flat-Rate or First Class Mail International are not insurable....if you select one of these options you do so at your own risk & understanding that we are not responsible for loss or damage. We are not responsible for any packages once we have shipped them. We keep accurate records of when items are shipped to prove they are sent out when we report them to you as being shipped. We are not responsible should your Customs agency hold a package. We are also not responsible for how long a package takes to arrive. Be sure you are providing the correct address as we will not incur shipping costs to have a package returned if the address is not accurate. In these cases packages will be abandoned. A WORD ABOUT LOTS.......We offer many different kinds of lots, from ephemera to jewelry to sometimes toys or books, etc. We will not break up lots, piece items out, and so on. If you bid on a lot you are bidding on all of it, as is, as offered and will have all the items shipped to you from that lot. If you do not agree with this then do not bid. It is problematic to have requests to remove a few things and it often causes confusion, especially with lots where there are 20+ items....we may not remove what you wanted, and it simply sets up for a difficult situation. Thank you in advance for understanding and respecting our policy.
