ANTIQUE WROUGHT IRON PAN SUPPORT
This is a nice old blacksmith-made wrought Iron Pan Support which dates anywhere from 1750-1850. The support hooks onto a ratchet style hanger which in turn hangs on a chimney crane fitted into the side of an inglenook fireplace which swings out over the fire with your pan or kettle on the support, enabling you to adjust the height to suit.
This is a genuine original antique and definitely not a reproduction, it has been professionally cleaned and restored and is ready for use.
Size: H 10" x W 17½" x D 10" (25cm x 44.5cm x 25cm)
Condition: Very Good - there is just a tiny piece broken off the end of one of the pointy bits in the middle (see pic 2) .
