ANTIQUE (c. 1850-1890) WOODEN O'BRIEN'S SELF-CLOSING TILL / CASH REGISTER

This auction is for a lovely antique wooden cash register by O'Brien's (Liverpool) in used condition as shown in the photographs.

Probably dates from 1850-1890 Victorian period. O'Brien's were at 30 Slater Street, Liverpool. This is Serial Number 9403, quite an early number in fact.

Key is missing, handle at the front may not be original, the bell is mounted at the back but no longer 'dings' when the drawer is opened. The drawer seems in good condition but no longer self-closes. Other than that I can't see anything wrong but I'm no expert. Please look at the photos for further details. The till measures 47cm long by 26cm wide by 19.5cm high.
