ANTIQUE WMF BRASS CHARGER ART NOUVEAU NEWLYN STYLE

Nice antique brass charger by WMF (Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik AG), most likely dating back to the 1910s/20s. It is very Art Nouveau in style and resembles the Newlyn copper work produced around the same time. It measures approx. 16” in diameter. It is decorated with moulded, swimming fish. Two of the fish have holes for eyes. I don't know whether this is a later addition or whether it is part of the original design. It has the odd very minor scratch, as you might expect from a piece of metal of this age. It is otherwise in excellent condition with no major dents or damage. There is a hook on the back for hanging it on the wall. It is a super piece of antique brass work and well worth bidding on.
