ANTIQUE TUAREG SILVER RING – AFRICAN JEWELLERY

This is an incredible piece of antique Tuareg jewellery bought from a Tureg tribesman in the Sahara Desert. It is crafted from traditional Tuareg silver which is a mix of silver and nickel. The Tuareg are a semi-nomadic people who have lived in the Sahara desert for hundreds of years, famed for their craftsmanship they wear silver jewellery as a symbol of wealth and status. This ring is approximately a UK size T 1/2 (approximately US size 10) and weigh 14g, it is an unusual and rare example of original ethnic African jewellery.
