ANTIQUE Solid Silver SALVER TRAY Hallmarked 1902 NR

This is a delightful and very rare ANTIQUE EDWARDIAN solid sterling silver salver or tray that was made in London, England in 1902 by the illustrious Victorian silversmiths, The Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Company at their Regent Street workshops. It is round in shape and has a beautiful decorated rim. It measures 8 5/8" in diameter and stands 1 1/4" high on its three elegant feet - it weighs 394.5g which is almost 12 3/4 troy oz. It is is in excellent condition for its age with just the usual surface scratching but NO dents and very few dinks collected over the last 105 years. It is engraved to the centre with a detailed armorial crest. It is hallmarked with G&SCoLd, lion passant (sterling silver assay mark), leopard head, g showing that it was hallmarked in London in 1902. I have shown the hallmark so that you can make up your own mind. A lovely and very valuable ANTIQUE piece in superb condition after 105 years!!!!!! Postage will be 6.00GBP both within the UK and to international destinations.
