A lovely Victorian Rosewood inlaid jewellery box, dating to around 1870.The rosewood is well figured & the inlay is a really nice feature.A quality box that has great quality looks , simple design & is very elegant.

It doesn't show up very well on the pictures , but the mother of pearl inlay really sparkels & looks fantastic in real life.A very nice box in every way !

Measuring just under 8" wide, 5 1/4" deep &  3 1/4" tall it is in excellent condition .The wood is a beautiful warm colour & the whole box is in very good condition.The interior is complete & it still has the original lock & key, in working order .The original paper linning was in poor condition & has been removed , leaving the bare timber , but could easily be replaced with a coloured paper of your choice. 

This box looks great & would make a wonderful gift.Please remember this is an antique, not new & so has age/marks character from 150 plus years of use.
