SELLING AN EARLY VACUUM CLEANER, "THE REEVES SUCTION SWEEPER" MADE BY THE REEVES VACUUM CLEANER CO., MILFORD, CONNECTICUT

SIZE approximately 46" TALL x 2 3/4" ROUND DIAMETER (case) x 7 1/4" WIDE (at the nozzle end)

METAL CYLINDRICAL CASING WITH A WOOD TURNED HANDLE WHICH IS PUMPED UP AND DOWN TO CREATE SUCTION

This remarkable invention, which sparked a revolution in house-keeping in the early 20th century, led the way for further advances in vacuum cleaner technology. It paved the way for vacuum cleaners to become a must for every household.
