THIS IS A GREAT ANTIQUE POT WITH LID WHICH SAYS:-

'WHITAKER LIMtd AMBROSIAL GLYCERINE & HONEY SHAVING CREAM PRODUCES AN ABUNDANT LATHER, SOFTENS THE BEARD AND ALLAYS IRRITATION, 22 SILK STREET CITY LONDON'.

THIS APPEARS TO BE ON A PAPER LABEL WHICH HAS BROWNED WITH AGE. THE LID ONE CHIP IN THE RIM AND CRAZING. THE POT HAS THREE CHIPS AROUND THE RIM AND THE CRAZING IS WORSE WITH SOME BROWN STAINING TO PART OF IT. THE POT WITH LID MEASURES APPROX. 8.5CM WIDE BY 5CM TALL.
