 THIS FAN WAS LEFT TO ME BY AN AUNT AND IS INTERESTING IN THE FACT THAT IT APPEARS TO HAVE A ROYAL INFLUENCE THERE ARE TWO PORTRAITS WITH A CREST OF THREE FEATHERS AND THE MOTTO " ICH DEIN"  WHICH IS I BELIEVE IS THE CREST FOR THE  PRINCE OF WALES THE RESEARCH I HAVE DONE INDICATES IT COULD BE KING GEORGE 3RD AND QUEEN CHARLOTTE, THERE REMAIN AROUND THE PORTRAITS A CIRCLE OF SEQUINS SADLY MANY MISSING BUT OBVIOUSLY HAND STITCHED THERE IS ALSO STITCHING AROUND THE EDGE OF FAN WITH FEW REMAING SEQUINS.  THE GUARDS HAVE SOME DAMAGE AND THERE IS A SMALL TEAR ON THE PAPER ON THE RIGHT SIDE, BUT  THE STICKS SEEM ALL INTACT, IT IS FAIRLY DIRTY BUT CONSIDERING IT IS VERY OLD NOT SURPRISING.
