WELCOME AND THANKS FOR DROPPPING IN! UP FOR AUCTION IS THE FOLLOWING:

This is a very beautiful antique jewelry box in very good condition.  It looks like it's made of oak or teak wood.  The colour on the pictures is lighter than the actual box. 

It has gorgeous wood inlays and hand-hammered brass inlay (according to the auctioneer they are hand-hammered). A few metal chips on a few corners as seen in one picture, but nothing major - just normal wear for an art deco piece like this.

Inside is a heavy nickel back original mirror with a reverse painted wood-like frame on it (really gorgeous!).

It is lined in an old thick red velvet that has some marks made by whatever sat there for a long time with some velvet around inside lid edge around mirror.

It has a tray that sits on top that is sectioned off.

It has a key hole but I do not have the key.

Box measures 10" long x 7" deep x 3.5" high.

Two brass hinges that work fine. 

This box, in my view, looks handcrafted.

The new owner of this piece will NOT be disappointed.
