AN ATTRACTIVE CARVED OAK CASE WITH A LONG TRUNK DOOR .

THE PLAIN 12” ARCHED PAINTED DIAL SIGNED .

“ C J LEWNS AYE” dated 1839/62

Brass Corinthian hood capitals.

The 8 day striking movement, in need of a clean, but seems to function with pressure on the two great wheels.

Weights winding key and pendulum.

The case standing 85” high.
