This well modelled bust of William Richard Wagner is 4.5 inches tall and in excellent condition. This bust comes from a small collection of parian busts of worthy notables. Wilhelm Richard Wagner (22 May1813, Leipzig, Germany - 13 February1883, Venice, Italy) was a Germancomposer, conductor, music theorist and essayist, primarily known for his operas (or "music dramas", as they were later called). Unlike most other great opera composers, Wagner wrote the scenario and libretto for his works.
