This mask was purchased as an antique stop in Mexico. The beauty of this very old hand carved wooden mask is that not only did the maker use real animal horns, but they are REMOVABLE!!! Look at the pictures, NOW YOU SEE THEM, NOW YOU DON'T!!!! This is a very beautiful piece and it is meant to be used in dance or hung on the wall, and both uses serve keeping EVIL spirits away! The horns themselves measure approximately 7" Long and the face length is about 11" long and ear to ear about 13" wide. The horns will of course be disassembled upon its arrival and you will need to carefully put them back in, looking closely you will be able to tell which goes where. The maker of this mask did an AMAZING job on this piece. My opening bid will be very low for this great mask in hopes that it goes to a good home! Check out my other masks at auction as well!
