ANTIQUE OFF-WHITE PURE LINEN HOMESPUN FABRIC WHICH IS 14" SALVAGE TO SALVAGE. I'M CALLING THIS A SAMPLER BECAUSE DIFFERENT SECTIONS OF THE 4 YARD LENGTH ARE WORKED DIFFERENTLY WITH DRAWN-THREAD EMBROIDERY. THE FIRST SECTION IS 52" LONG WITH TWO ROWS OF DRAWN-THREAD EMBROIDERY NEAR ONE EDGE. THE SECOND SECTION IS 26" LONG AND HAS TWO CENTERED ROWS OF THE DRAWN-THREAD EMBROIDERY. THE THIRD SECTION IS 43" LONG AND HAS ONE ROW OF DRAWN-THREAD EMBROIDERY IN THE CENTER. THE FOURTH SECTION IS 23" LONG AND HAS THREE VERTICAL ROWS OF DRAWN-THREAD WORK. THIS IS ALL HAND DONE - NEVER USED. I'M NOT SURE WHAT THE INTENDED USE WAS - BUT I'M SURE SOME WONDERFUL ITEMS COULD BE MADE WITH THIS BEAUTIFUL HAND WORKED ANTIQUE LINEN. PERFECT CONDITION!
