This is a lovely antique silver hallmarked spectacles/glasses case measuring 4 1/4" (10.5 cm) x 1 3/4" (4.5 cm).  It is clearly hallmarked for Chester 1917 with the silversmiths mark for Grey & Co who were noted for their novelties in silver and supplied retail establishments such as Asprey & Co. The condition is very good with some minor light surface marks and it weighs 56 grams.   Please see photos and email if you have any queries - all questions will be answered between 9 am and 6 pm UK time.
