ANTIQUE GEORGIAN CAST IRON CHIMNEY CRANE
This is a nice old large sized cast Iron chimney crane dating from around 1750-1800. This one has an attractive decorative coil on the end. The crane would fit into the side of an inglenook fireplace and would swing out over the fire. You would hang a pot-hook from the crane with your pan or kettle on the end and adjust the height to suit.
This is a genuine original antique and definitely not a reproduction, it has been professionally cleaned and restored and is ready for use.
