Description

This is a stylish George IV half fluted Teapot of compressed globular form, flowerhead boss finial, hinged domed cover, acanthus capped scroll handle and spout standing on conforming shaped circular foot.

Hallmarked Robert Hennell, London 1823.

Measures 15 cm (6 inches) tall to the finial, 24cm long (9.4 inches) from handle to spout and weighs 540 grams (19 ounces).

Nice original condition, couple of very light dings and a tiny abrasion to the body (see photo).
