SHOULD YOU RECEIVE YOUR ITEM DAMAGED I ASK FOR PHOTOS OF THE DAMAGE TO COMPARE TO MY PHOTOS OF THE ITEM BEFORE I GAVE IT TO THE POST OFFICE SO WE CAN COMPARE THEM TO YOUR PHOTOS AFTER RECEIVING IT FROM THE POST OFFICE.   I DO THIS TO PROTECT MYSELF FROM ANY ASSERTION THAT ANY NEW DAMAGE BY THE POST OFFICE WAS SOMETHING I LEFT OUT OF MY DESCRIPTION - MY PICTURES CAN BE FORWARDED, IF YOU NEED TO USE THEM, FOR A POSTAL INSURANCE CLAIM.   WITH THAT SAID PLEASE REST ASSURED THAT WE PACK VERY WELL AS EVIDENCED BY MY FEEDBACK.

PAYMENTS:  All payments are due within 7 days of close of auction unless bidding on multiple auctions - be sure to let me know if you are bidding on other items and I will work with you.   If payment is not received within 7 days an alert is sent to me from E-Bay - they ask me to file a non-paying bidders strike against you - it is what I have to do to get some of my fees from listing the item back from E-Bay.   You then have 7 days to respond to E-Bay and make payment before a non paying bidder strike is filed against you by E-Bay.  They then let me know it is OK to relist your item refunding me the Final Value Fee they assessed my account at the close of your auction. All checks and money orders are held for 10 days to assure payment has cleared.

SHIPPING/HANDLING!!!!  LOOK HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :-)

1)  All items are shipped via USPS Domestic and Worldwide with a tracking number thru delivery confirmation and/or customs forms TO YOUR EBAY/PAYPAL CONFIRMED ADDRESS ONLY! in 5 days Domestic & 7-10 International

2)  S/H (Shipping & Handling) is the cost you add to your winning bid to have your item safely sent to you. 

3)  I pay for Brown shipping paper, Foam Wrap, Styrofoam, Bubblewrap, Popcorn, White tissue paper, LOTS of USPS grade packing tape, Scotch brand Magic tape, often a proper fitting box and LOTS of manila envelopes!  I drive to the post office to deliver your package into the hands of the USPS.  All these things cost money and take time so I do have a  HANDLING FEE  to cover my costs.  E-Bay allows me to put a handling fee in when I am listing - that number then is lumped together with the calculated shipping cost and appears to you as a 'Shipping' cost when you win an auction.   Because of this many people are confused when they get their package and see that the actual postage was less than they paid for shipping.  There will always be a difference in what you pay and actual postage - if I make a mistake and the difference is too large I will refund some of your shipping fee back.  You can check my feedback and see where I have surprised many by doing just that. I am not greedy or unfair....it costs me money to make my parent's estate available to you and to deliver it safely into your hands :-)

4) S/H does not include insurance. 

5) If your package is returned to me for invalid shipping address or non pick-up I will need to charge you s/h fees again to have your package resent  

6)  Insurance is your choice! Please know - I am not responsible for items lost or damaged by the USPS AND These items really are my parents things. I do NOT want them broken or lost so I spend money on nice shipping supplies and I pack very carefully!  Upon shipping I say a prayer that the USPS will do it's job properly!  I want you to get your item in perfect condition.  But, if they do mess up your recourse is insurance.  So please consider this when paying for your item. Please see my feedback for confirmation of my overdoing the packing thing!

7) If outside the US your S/H fees will be higher - usually double U.S.  

 8)  I HAVE A BUSY LIFE. AS A CANCER SURVIVOR I SEE A LOT OF DR.S AND HAVE TWO SMALL BOYS AND A HUSBAND WITH BUSY SCHOOL AND SPORTS SCHEDULES.  MY TIME SUPPORTING MY BOYS IS PRECIOUS AND COMES FIRST.  CANCER CHANGED MY PRIORITIES.  I AM NOT THE FASTEST SHIPPER ON E-BAY - ASKING FOR 5 BUSINESS DAYS, BUT I AM PERHAPS THE MOST CAREFUL :-) I CAN'T GUARANTEE RECEIPT BY A CERTAIN DATE, HOWEVER, PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU NEED SOMETHING FASTER THATN THE 5 DAYS SHIPPING TIME I SOMETIMES NEED AND I WILL WORK HARD TO SEE YOU GET YOUR ITEM ASAP.

INSURANCE:

If your package should get lost or damaged the USPS will refund the item(s) amount(s) excluding s/h charges, if it is due to damage they will keep your item.   I have never had an instance (there have been 2 out of 1000+) where something was broken by the Post Office that they did not pay the insurance claim after seeing the elaborate packing materials.  And in both cases my customer still left Positive Feedback because it was not my fault.  I was very distressed to learn my mom's things broke.  I do not want to have anything break on it's way to you!
