ANTIQUE ENGLISH GOLD CORAL SUITE EARRINGS PENDANT PIN!! A lovely quality antique English, solid 18 carat gold (tests thereabouts) suite of drop earrings, pendant and pin; beautifully made, with fine cable twist bezels, pastel blue and black enamel embellishment, and set with wonderful dark and pale orange-pink coral cabochons in four-peak settings. To the back of the pin is a glazed locket compartment.
A high quality, beautiful and eyecatching Victorian suite - fabulously wearable!
CONDITION: All original and very good. Slight signs of wear, small amount of enamel damage, small amount of loss to pin's bezel - not readily noticeable. Disparity in corals' colours natural and perfectly normal. Earrings tops old replacments, teardop shaped drop probably a replacement.
DATE/MARKS: Around 1870/80. Not marked.
DIMENSIONS: Pin 29 mm diameter, pendant drop 43 mm, earring drop 37 mm (1 inch = 25.4 mm). To give an impression of scale, the coin is 19 mm or ¾ of an inch diameter.
WEIGHT: Approx. 26.5 grams together.
